The annual seminar is put together by the Missouri Association of Natural Gas Operators (MANGO), the Missouri Public Service Commission and various gas related product vendors.
The seminar is focused on natural gas operations related to pipeline safety. It typically consists of several general meeting sessions for all attendees on topics of interest to the entire natural gas industry. Then various break-out sessions and training classes dealing with specific topics are held covering a wide variety of topics for people new to the gas industry as well as seasoned veterans.
In addition, a vendor showcase is available consisting of approximately 60 vendors displaying various products and technologies. It is a great opportunity for you to get any questions answered. The seminar agenda provides breaks throughout the seminar to allow you time to visit these vendors and see what’s new.
The seminar runs Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning. Lunch is provided on Thursday and dinner is provided both Wednesday and Thursday evenings. After dinner, there are various types of entertainment for attendees and their families such as Bingo, a “Dive-In” movie (where they show a family movie beside the pool,) a boat Cruise around the lake, or other such entertainment.
This should be a beneficial training and educational event for anyone interested in the natural gas industry. We hope to see you there!
